Wall Altar

A Slab building clay workshop

Craft your very own vertical altar from stoneware clay! This altar is meant to hang on a wall or be propped up on a surface.

Your altar can be used for meditation or ritual work and is small enough to fit almost anywhere. It also makes a great trinket or crystal shelf!

We will be working with a cured stoneware clay slab to construct our altars. We will then embellish and add our customized, unique designs. This workshop has a lot of room for customization and creativity!

Working with clay can be an amazing way to get out of our heads, and by connecting with our creative we are practicing self-care.

All supplies will be provided.  Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little clay on. No experience needed!

VIBE:

Our cozy worktables provide the perfect setting to relax and get into your creative while enjoying a cup of tea.

FIRING AND PICK UP:

Once you are complete, choose your glaze option and leave it with us to fire. After a few weeks, return to pick up your finished piece. We work with mid-fire stoneware and your piece will be dishwasher and microwave-safe.

REGISTRATION AND ATTENDANCE POLICY

To ensure a quality experience for all registered participants, our workshops are designed for those who have signed up in advance. Please note that extra guests are not permitted to attend or observe the workshop unless they have registered themselves. This includes children—our workshops cannot accommodate unregistered minors. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the integrity and focus of our sessions.

Minors must be accompanied by participating adults.
