Microgreens Planter Pet
Create a hand-crafted microgreens planter from stoneware clay, perfect for growing fresh microgreens, such as chia, flax, arugula, cress, or radish, at home. This design is also ideal for growing moss, or can be easily altered to hold air plants.
An experienced instructor will guide you step-by-step through the pinch pot technique, forming the foundation of your piece. You’re welcome to arrive with a design in mind or follow along with the day’s demonstration.
Using one of the earliest techniques to form clay, you'll get your hands dirty and experience the joy of molding and shaping clay with your fingers.
Each creator will also receive a free seed mixture and growing guide for their planter pet.
Planters will be bisque-fired only, preserving the natural porosity of the clay so it can retain the moisture your greens need to grow.
Please Note:
*Long nails are not recommended for the pinch pot technique.
