Luminary Carve

Join us for this workshop at Lake Monster Brewing as part of our winter brewery series!

Work with a professional thrown and cured cylinder to uncover the flickering shadows that can warm your home throughout any time of year. The carefully cured clay is delicious to carve, showing up in an expression that is not often available to casual clayer.

The finished piece will be approximately 5” tall.

FIRING AND PICK UP:

Once you’re finished, you’ll choose a glaze option and we’ll transport your piece back to Dame Errant to be glazed and fired. You’ll receive automated email reminders when your piece is ready, as well as a heads-up one week before the 8-week pickup window ends. Firing updates are also shared in our newsletter.

AGE:

This workshop is suitable for ages 14 to 100, minors must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Registration and Attendance Policy:

To ensure a quality experience for all registered participants, our workshops are designed for those who have signed up in advance. Please note that extra guests are not permitted to attend or observe the workshop unless they have registered themselves. This includes children—our workshops cannot accommodate unregistered minors. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the integrity and focus of our sessions.

ROGUE OPTIONS:

This form could be converted into an open-air garlic jar. Left without holes, the form could be a short vase, a utensil holder, or turned upside down to form the shell of a bell.
