Lidded Jar

A Pinch Pot Clay Workshop

Join us at Dame Errant to create a lidded jar, perfect for storing trinkets and treasures! We’ll form our jars using one of the earliest known techniques to work with clay. You'll get your hands dirty and experience the joy of molding and shaping clay with your fingers.

You will also have the opportunity to personalize your jar by painting it with underglazes.

Please Note:

*Long nails are not recommended for the pinch pot technique.

VIBE:

Our cozy worktables provide the perfect setting to relax and get into your creative while enjoying a cup of tea.

FIRING AND PICK UP:

Once you are complete, choose your glaze option and leave it with us to fire. After a few weeks, return to pick up your finished piece. We work with mid-fire stoneware and your piece will be dishwasher and microwave-safe.

ROGUE OPTIONS:

You can choose to make this vessel without a lid, making it the perfect dessert dish, or put a hole in the bottom and use it as a succulent pot!

AGE:

This workshop is suitable for ages 12 to 100, minors must be accompanied by a participating adult.

To ensure a quality experience for all registered participants, our workshops are designed for those who have signed up in advance. Please note that extra guests are not permitted to attend or observe the workshop unless they have registered themselves. This includes children—our workshops cannot accommodate unregistered minors.
