A Slab Building Clay Workshop

A cousin to our fairy house!

This is a playful slab-building workshop. Start with a cured slab and use our templates to cut out your pieces. Add your doors and windows and assemble your house!

As with all our workshops, beginners are very welcome! Most of our workshops are very relaxed and freeform. This workshop does have a bit of a technical aspect as we need to make the walls meet up, so come prepared to listen and follow instructions throughout the workshop!

AGE: 14+

ROGUE OPTIONS:
This could also be a spooky haunted house or a house built for any creature, mystical or tiny. If you’d rather not use our template you could build a small box with the slab provided.

VIBE:
Our cozy worktables provide the perfect setting to relax and get into your creative while enjoying a cup of tea.

FIRING AND PICK UP:
Once you are complete, choose your glaze option and leave it with us to fire. After a few weeks, return to pick up your finished piece. We work with mid-fire stoneware and your piece will be dishwasher and microwave safe.

REGISTRATION AND ATTENDANCE POLICY:

To ensure a quality experience for all registered participants, our workshops are designed for those who have signed up in advance. Please note that extra guests are not permitted to attend or observe the workshop unless they have registered themselves. This includes children—our workshops cannot accommodate unregistered minors. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the integrity and focus of our sessions.
