A Pinch Pot Workshop

Craft your own distinctive candle holder out of clay! Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process using various pinch pot and hand-building techniques, allowing you to infuse your personal touch into your design. Feel the cool, pliable clay beneath your fingers as you breathe life into your vision. Whether your style leans towards rustic simplicity or intricate elegance, this is your opportunity to let your imagination run wild and infuse your personal touch into every curve and contour of your candle holder. This project can easily be modified to fit most types of candles!

Pinch pots can be tricky with long nails.

We have a variety of 100% beeswax candles by local candle maker, Slow Burn, available for purchase in our shop!

VIBE:

Our cozy worktables provide the perfect setting to relax and get into your creative while enjoying a cup of tea.

FIRING AND PICK UP:

Once you are complete, choose your glaze option and leave it with us to fire. After a few weeks, return to pick up your finished piece. We work with mid-fire stoneware and your piece will be dishwasher and microwave safe.

ROGUE OPTIONS:

We will be starting with a clay sphere which can easily be crafted into a bowl, cup, or dish.

AGE:

This workshop is suitable for ages 14 to 100, minors must be accompanied by a participating adult.

To ensure a quality experience for all registered participants, our workshops are designed for those who have signed up in advance. Please note that extra guests are not permitted to attend or observe the workshop unless they have registered themselves. This includes children—our workshops cannot accommodate unregistered minors. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the integrity and focus of our sessions.
