Foundations of Tarot
Part 1
Release the Suspicion, Doubt, & Fear
At its heart, the Tarot will allow you get to know yourself more deeply. This first of four workshop classes is built to dispel myths to move away from possible blocks you may have about this practice, and to take your Tarot knowledge to the next level.
Tarot reaches you to trust yourself. It's no more complex or scary than that: it provides your inner wisdom and a voice. The cards tell you a loving story through images of what you already know, deep in your heart. What to develop, what to love more, what to nourish, what to pay more attention to. The cards allow you to look at that old story, release the pain, and allow the new story in. Trust yourself, because you are whole and perfect as you are right now. You are the medicine and the magic.
Join Azahar as she takes you through the foundations of the cards to become more familiar, comfortable, and strong in reading the cards. This practice strengthens and complements any existing walking, somatic, mindfulness, or listening/sharing exercises you're already doing.

The Fools Journey
Part 3
Learning the Language of Your Intuition
Our dreams at night speak a different language than we do in our waking state. The language of the unconscious. Symbols, imagery, and heart vs head. It’s the same with our intuition, that deep and inner knowing. We tend to cover and quiet our north star until it becomes an unfamiliar language and direction.
So how do you begin to speak to and hear those messages again, clearly? Most ways involve quieting the mind. Meditation, long walks, or journaling. But divination tools are another wonderful way to re-learn your inner language through art, storytelling, and archetypes. Tarot is another to your guiding voice. Because it’s you speaking through the cards. Translating inner voice to outer.
They will show you the way if you allow them to. Get quiet and adorn them with affection. An act of self-nourishment. Like anyone in your life, it blossoms when you give it time, space, and a platform to speak. You are the medicine and the magic.

You as the Magician
Part 4
Elevate Your Reading for Yourself and Others
Even if you know nothing about the cards, they can still speak to you. If you allow them to. If you make space to listen. Because we tend to care for others better than we care for ourselves, the cards help remind you that you are worthy, too.
When you forget to nourish, set boundaries, love, and protect yourself, the cards let you know. Just like a good friend, they can give you tough love. Call you out. Read you to filth. They can also gas you up. Remind you of your power. Tell you how life will look if you allow it.
Will you allow it? Sometimes we make ourselves fail by pretend-trying, and then act like it’s proof the inability, mistakes, and failure are true. The cards remind you that this is a lie. You deserve your own kindness. You deserve to put in your all. You deserve to flourish and expand in ways you never dreamed possible.

As always in our clay classes, we encourage people to take their clay project in whatever direction they like with the materials provided.
