Studio Access Memberships

Prospective Studio Access Members should be able to work independently and respectfully within our shared creative space.

Before applying, please make sure you meet the membership prerequisite:

  • Completion of a long-form clay class (such as a Dame Errant 6-week series or an equivalent multi-week program)

If you meet the prerequisite and are excited to join, please read through the membership details below, complete our application, and schedule a brief tour and interview.

Studio Access Membership

The Studio Access Membership is designed for potters who are ready to work independently and complete their pieces from start to finish. Members enjoy full access to our classroom worktables, wheels, and glaze station, along with firing space and discounts on workshops, sessions, and retail.

What's Included:

- 10 studio hours per month, booked through the Member Portal.
- Access to worktables, wheels, and glaze station (glaze orientation required before booking glaze time).
- Dedicated private shelf for personal tools, clay, and work-in-progress.
- 2 square feet of monthly firing space included, with the option to purchase more at $12/sqft.
- Option to purchase additional hour packages (valid 3 months after purchase).
- 30% discount on Workshops and Clay Moments.
- 15% discount on retail and non-alcoholic beverages (some exclusions apply).
- Monthly Member Meet-Up invite and complimentary tea.

Booking & Using Your Hours:

- Apply online and complete a brief tour/interview.
- Attend a required Studio Orientation before access is granted.
- Book your hours through the Member Portal after activation.
- Classroom reservations guarantee one seat and corresponding table space.
- If the classroom is less than 50% full, members may spread out but must be prepared to consolidate if needed.
- If you stay beyond your booked time, you are responsible for adjusting your reservation and paying for additional hours.
- Hours do not roll over month to month and are for the registered member only.

Member Add-On Studio Hour Packages:

Although monthly membership hours do not roll over, Package Hours are valid for 90 days from purchase.
Hours are for use by the registered member only.

- 5 Hours – $90
- 10 Hours – $150
- 15 Hours – $190
- Monthly Unlimited Subscription – $150/month

Firing & Materials:

- Clay: We have three types of clay bodies available for purchase on-site. Please chat with the front desk to purchase clay. Outside clay is prohibited unless approved by management.
- Glazes: Members must use studio-provided glazes unless prior written approval is given by management.
- Firing: Two square feet of bisque and glaze firing space are included each month. Additional firing can be purchased at $12 per square foot.

Studio Culture & Requirements:

- Prospective Studio Access Members must have prior clay experience and the ability to work independently.
- Prerequisite: Completion of a long-form clay class (such as Dame Errant’s 6-week series) and at least one Dame Errant Workshop or Clay Moment Session.
- Respect for the shared classroom space and studio etiquette is expected.
- Members are expected to use only equipment they have proper training and experience with. Safe and respectful use of all tools and studio spaces is part of maintaining a positive studio environment. Members should only use equipment, such as pottery wheels, if they feel confident in their training and ability.
- The classroom is a creative workspace, not a meeting or social gathering area.

Membership Terms and Conditions:

  • Access to Facilities: Members may book designated studio spaces during available operating hours. Standardly 10–5 Saturday and Sunday, and 10–8 on weekdays. Some exclusions may apply.

  • Code of Conduct: Members must maintain respect for the space, equipment, and fellow artists. Disruptive behavior may result in termination of membership.

  • Liability Waiver: Members agree to handle equipment and materials safely; the studio is not liable for injury, loss, or damage.

  • Membership Renewal and Cancellation: Memberships automatically renew unless cancelled online before the next billing cycle.

  • Compliance: Members must follow local laws and studio regulations.

  • Studio Communication: Members are expected to stay updated through email or studio notices.

  • Studio Rules & Etiquette: Members are required to read, understand, and comply with the studio’s Rules and Etiquette policies. These guidelines maintain a safe, respectful, and creative environment for everyone. Failure to comply may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership.

  • Terms Updates: Membership terms may be updated periodically.
