Samhain, or Halloween, is a potent and powerful time of the year when the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest.
You can take advantage of this time by connecting to your ancestors on the other side for wisdom, strength, and guidance, even if you don’t have a lot of knowledge of your lineage. In this workshop, seasoned witch and author Ora North will teach you some methods for fostering a connection with your ancestors, honoring them with respect and discernment, and lead the group in a ceremonial ritual that both invokes the gifts of your lineage and also cuts ties with some of the ancestral trauma that’s been passed down through the generations.
Mystic, healer, and ceramic artist Tara Block will then guide you on how to use your experience to create a ritual artifact that you can treasure and use on your altar to keep your ancestor work and magical offers alive.

Ora North is a published author, spiritual teacher, witch and mental health advocate. She has been trained as a practitioner and healer in a few spiritual lineages, though her primary interest in spirituality is in witchcraft and ritual. She has bipolar disorder, and sees her experience with her mental illness as something that informs her spirituality rather than excludes it. She always has her hands in personal creative projects, whether it’s fiction writing, poetry, interior design projects, music, photography, or divination studies.
