Community Clay Play -
A Clay Moment Offering

As a special offering to our community, we would like to invite you to come to our studio and play with clay for free.

Bring your loved ones, or just yourself, to experience the meditative ambience of our studio while you sip some complimentary tea and play with clay for free. Take a break from doom scrolling and find community in a supportive environment with an emphasis on creativity as self-care.

If you would like to keep your piece at the end of your session, you can pay a $15 materials fee to have it glazed and fired.

Registration is free. We are taking appointments to ensure that we have enough space, but walk-ins are also welcome on a first come first served basis.

This is an unguided hand building only offering, and there is no access to wheels.

Classroom Etiquette and Policy:

Please respect our communal creative space.

This is a shared space for connection and creativity. Light conversation is welcome, but keep noise to a respectful level. Please step outside for phone calls or digital alerts, and refrain from offering unsolicited advice.

Firing and pick up

You leave all the glazing and firing to us. Participant will choose from our current glaze options at the time of creation and each piece will get a full dip into the glaze. Turn around time is usually about 3 weeks but can be up to 6. We blast our mailing list and socials whenever we fire explaining what is ready for pick up, pick up walk in’s are available during open clay hours. We post our schedule every month.

Kids

Although this space was built with adults in mind, children are welcome to be registered for Clay Moment at their parents discretion of their attention and motor skills. They should have the ability to respect the peaceful creative space and be careful with tools. 10 years old is the suggested youngest age limit, but this may vary from child to child. They must be accompanied by a participating adult and all members of the party must register.
